Adv. Porat represents individuals and companies in a broad array of complex commercial disputes in all the courts, as well as in arbitration and mediation proceedings, in all the civil and commercial litigation channels, including in matters of corporate law, contract law, intellectual property law, insolvency law, and class actions.
Adv. Porat also deals with international disputes. He has amassed extensive experience in representation of foreign clients (from the United States, Europe, Russia, Japan and elsewhere) in legal proceedings in Israel, and in advising Israeli clients conducting (or who may need to conduct) legal proceedings abroad, all the while maintaining close contact with their foreign attorneys.
Adv. Porat frequently represents corporations, shareholders and officers in corporate control
conflicts and other legal disputes in the field of corporate law. As part of this
practice area, Adv. Porat advises companies from all sectors of the business
world, including high-tech companies and start-up companies, in the various stages
of disputes and legal proceedings.
Alongside all the above, Adv. Porat advises clients in the early stages of disagreements, even before a full-blown dispute erupts, with the objective of preventing such dispute and thereby avoiding the need for legal proceedings by formulating creative legal and business solutions.
Adv. Gilad Porat joined the firm as an associate attorney in 2004, after obtaining his LL.B., cum laude, from Tel Aviv University and after interning at the firm.
